Beech Jumbo Tray Storage Unit, 4 Bays for 4 Jumbo Trays – Unit Only
This tray unit accommodates 4 jumbo trays to help organise and mobilise resources in a wide variety of environments. Supplied empty, it is ideal for replacing a damaged unit, or upgrading for more space without having to replace perfectly good trays that have plenty of life left in them. For a school on a budget in particular, a unit without trays is a blessing.
Design
The design consists of 4 individual bays that hold one tray each. This results in greater safety and stability than traditional brackets and runners, so large quantities of heavy items can be stored. It also makes the unit more adaptable, as each bay can be used like a shelf compartment when there are no trays inside – as needs change over time, the functionality as a storage solution will always remain.
This unit is supplied in beech, a classic and neutral tone that will match existing beech furniture - and even the brightest tray colours - without the risk of clashing. What separates it from other jumbo tray units is the eye-catching brown edging, an accompaniment that adds an impressive air of sophistication without a high price tag. Both Gratnells and Certwood trays will comfortably fit this unit (‘jumbo’ and ‘quad’ sized, respectively), allowing you to mix and match and re-use existing trays as required. As an overall storage solution, tray units are multi-purpose beyond the typical uses of paper, books and stationery, proving to be equally useful for bulky items that are a struggle to store elsewhere. This includes STEM resources such as science apparatus, art supplies, D&T materials, tools, digital devices, cables and DVDs – for many of which organisation is a necessity for safety – making tray units an essential in any classroom.
