Really Useful Box Storage Unit, 12 Bays for 4L/9L Boxes – with 24 Boxes & Lids

Design
The storage unit contains 12 equal sized bays across 4 columns. This design allows the unit to remain short enough for children to reach the top without difficulty, empowering them with the responsibility of finding what they need and tidying up when they are done. The use of individual bays also increases stability for the storage of heavier contents, which is especially useful for the larger boxes.
There are 12 x 9L boxes and 12 x 4L boxes included, with one of each size stored in each bay. The larger boxes can be used for oddly shaped items or simply a high quantity of items. Smaller boxes on the other hand are better suited to flat or small items such as paper, books and stationery.
These uses are not dissimilar to those of tray units, which although similar in price, do not offer a fraction of the practicality of a Really Useful Box. For example, each box is transparent to help you find what you need straight away, and is provided with a stable, clip fastening lid to protect the contents from spillages or dust. This lid also makes the boxes 100% portable without the risk of damage or loss, and positively stackable with other Really Useful Boxes when stored outside of the unit. When the boxes have been removed, the empty storage bays can then be used like shelf compartments, proving this adaptable storage solution to be the best value for any school.
The unit itself comes with a stylish beech finish, and is mobile with castors to allow movement between classrooms or for easily storing out of the way when not in use.
Construction
The unit is constructed using 18mm thick melamine faced chipboard (MFC) - a common material in classrooms due to its strength and durability under frequent handling. The MFC used in this product is FSC certified. Each Really Useful Box is constructed from injection moulded polypropylene – allowing a working temperature of -15 °C to +80°C – and a reinforced base for rigidity and durability.
