Plan Chest, Static, for A1 Paper - with 5 Drawers
This plan chest is the ideal way to keep plain paper, artwork, maps, posters and other contents not only organised and easily accessible, but safe from spillages and wear and tear. This is inevitable in art, science, nursery and primary school classrooms in particular, where a plan chest should be regarded more as an essential than a luxury.
Design
Although this unit is designed to accommodate paper of A1 size, smaller paper sizes and other non-paper items can be stored just as well. With a generous 5 drawers, each one can be categorised to make it easier for students and teachers alike to find what they are looking for.
The all-around protection of the drawers ensures that paper-based resources can avoid creasing, tearing, paint spills or other classroom mishaps, reducing wastage and saving money for your school. Students will also feel a greater peace of mind knowing their unfinished art projects can be safely stored at school until the next lesson. Small and easy to lose items can of course also be stored in the drawers, which are sure to fulfil the storage requirements of most classrooms.

Construction
The unit is constructed using 18mm thick melamine faced chipboard (MFC), a common material in classrooms due to its strength and durability under frequent handling. This is supplemented with a protective laminated finish and 2mm thick ABS edging tape to create a smooth edge and prevent chipping. It is also used to add a striking darker toned edge to the plan chest, creating an attractive and comforting aesthetic in a classroom that alternative products cannot compete with.
