Coloured Cupboard Unit Grey/Blue Adjustable Shelves - 656m
This stylish and convenient storage solution provides all the benefits of a cupboard
but in child-friendly dimensions. In classrooms where damage to resources is a risk or access needs to be restricted
a cupboard unit is an invaluable piece of furniture.
Design
This cupboard unit has been manufactured to a height that is suitable for primary school aged children to reach
empowering them with the responsibility of finding what they need and tidying up when they are done. The internal design consists of 3 shelf tiers
including 2 adjustable shelves to accommodate larger items. The unit is grey coloured with dark grey edging
and features rich blue doors to make any classroom appear stylish
homely and welcoming.
The lockable doors incorporated into the design make it possible to store books
equipment
stationery and other resources in a way that is accessible only to those with a key
keeping the contents protected from unauthorised use. Unsafe substances and specialist equipment such as those used in science labs can be kept safe for greater peace of mind
as well as answer sheets or stationery that is at risk of being used without permission. The doors also hide the contents to limit distractions
and provide a protective barrier against spillages in art and science classrooms.
The unit itself is mobile
and supplied with castors to allow movement between classrooms or for easily storing out of the way when not in use.
Construction
The unit is constructed using 18mm thick melamine faced chipboard (MFC)
a common material in classrooms due to its strength and durability under frequent handling. This is supplemented with a protective laminated finish and 2mm thick ABS edging tape to create a smooth edge and prevent chipping. The durable construction of this product allows us to proudly offer a 25 year guarantee
so your school can use its tight budget wisely. The MFC used in this product is FSC certified.
