Play paper is paper that has been designed specifically for arts and crafts. This is a result of its thickness (100gsm) that increases durability and prevents ink and pencil marks from bleeding though the page. Due to this thickness, play paper is also resistant to tears whilst remaining easy to cut with high accuracy, making it perfect for children.
Compared to sugar paper, play paper comes in much richer and brighter colours that bring warmth to your projects, and hide visible wood pulp particles much better. Play paper is additionally stronger to withstand painting, and therefore more versatile too! With an unfinished surface, both types of paper are slightly rough with small visible particles on the surface due to the wood pulp source material.
A4 in size, this paper is ideal for cutting into smaller shapes for arts and crafts, decorating, card-making, or animation projects. Alternatively, use the whole sheet to create greetings cards or use for folding activities.
