HA200 Height Adjustable Single Table, Hand Crank - 512-805mm(H)
We all know that being sedentary for extended periods is bad for our health, yet many schools and businesses fail to provide adequate working conditions to address this. On the other hand, many also fail to provide furniture that is suited to disabled people – and often without realising. To address both of these issues together is the height adjustable table, which should be considered an essential in every learning environment.
Design
The table is adjustable from 512-805mm high so users can work from their preferred height. This allows those shorter or taller than average to remain comfortable in their seat without hunching over, straining their neck or adopting awkward seating positions, and can be perfectly adjusted to the height of various wheelchairs. A height adjustable table is especially useful in spaces shared by people of varying ages, or where various chair sizes are in use.
A main benefit is the ability to work from a standing position. Switching from being seated to standing during long periods of work helps combat the negative effects of a sedentary lifestyle, such as back pain, poor posture, obesity and even some cardiovascular diseases. You can adjust the worktop proportionally to your chair or stool height using the handy height guide on the frame, which is colour coded at various increments based on BS EN 1729:2016 recommendations. Following this guideline will help achieve optimal posture, comfort and lumbar support when seated.

Construction
Each table is constructed using 18mm thick MDF with a high-pressure laminate finish. This provides an inexpensive yet durable and smooth surface which makes the table both stylish and functional in a learning environment. Accompanying this are polished and lacquered bullnose MDF edges, which add a natural touch to the aesthetic whilst simultaneously providing protection against chipping and other accidental damage over time.
The robust silver metal frame can support an impressive 80kg, whilst the elongated legs and sturdy feet reduce the chance of the table moving or tipping when leaned on for support. The heavy-duty hand crank can be inserted through the crank hole when needed, operating smoothly for a stress-free experience.
