A periodical display simplifies the presentation of magazines so readers can find what they are looking for with a single glance. Design
The display features 4 sloping shelves, specifically designed to keep magazines upright and optimise visibility at all angles. The shelves are wide to accommodate a large variety of publications, as well as deep to accommodate thicker magazines, journals, books or encyclopaedias. Selecting a publication from the display will prove a simple task for all readers, who will find an indication of the content from the cover alone. Children especially will be drawn to this type of display, with attractive magazine covers encouraging them to read of their own accord, and assisting in the development of a lifelong interest in reading.
There are 2 drawers underneath the main display, both of which use a sliding mechanism. Without visible, protruding handles, there is an increase in safety, a more professional and uniform look, and a lesser chance of children going through the contents without permission. By storing spare issues, future issues or back issues here, stock can be replenished in no time at all for busy library staff.
With the absence of a top panel, the top shelf can be used to keep larger publications that are a struggle to fit elsewhere. These can be stored safely and confidently thanks to the secure, heavy duty fixed shelves. The unit itself is also static for safe and permanent usage in any environment.

The unit is constructed using 18mm thick melamine faced chipboard (MFC), a common material in classrooms due to its strength and durability under frequent handling. This durability allows us to proudly offer a 25 year guarantee, so your school can use its tight budget wisely. The MFC used in this product is FSC certified.
