As the digital world expands and books and paper become less popular, a narrow bookcase is a sensible, long-term solution to save money whilst fulfilling modern storage requirements. Although the narrow design fits into smaller spaces - especially those that are already populated with lots of other furniture - the generous 5 tiers ensure there is enough storage space for the needs of an average class.
4 of the shelves can be removed or adjusted if they are too high to reach or need to accommodate larger items, proving the bookcase to be highly adaptable to the needs of the user. The shelves are also fixed securely to the desired height rather than sliding on and off like alternative shelves, creating the stability required for heavy books such as encyclopaedias. This design makes it possible to quickly and easily find not only books, but equipment, files and stationery that need to be accessed just as frequently. The bookcase is also static for permanent status and safe usage in any environment.
Construction
The unit is constructed using 18mm thick melamine faced chipboard (MFC), a common material in classrooms due to its strength and durability under frequent handling. This durability allows us to proudly offer a 25 year guarantee, so your school can use its tight budget wisely. The MFC used in this product is FSC certified.
