Durable Construction
The tray is made from polycarbonate so it is durable for heavy use either indoors or outdoors, and suitable for both sand and water without suffering damage. It is also very easy to clean, and will not crack or break with impact. The clear design is much more fun for children who can pretend they are under the water or find things buried in the sand!
The sturdy frame is made from high quality birch plywood to lower costs and environmental impact whilst retaining the durability of alternative woods, and treated with a protective coating that protects against wear and tear and adverse weather conditions when used outdoors. Although suitable for outdoor use, please note the Large Sand and Water Station should be stored indoors.
Convenient Design
As there are two wheels on one side of the frame, it is easy to roll out the station to play with anywhere you can find space, whilst the two fixed legs on the other side keep it safe and sturdy when in use.
The tray features a screw-on bung for quick and easy emptying of water. For ultimate convenience, you can also remove the plastic tray from the frame to easily fill or pour away contents back into a sink or sandbag when playtime is over. The wooden lid included will protect any leftover sand or water until next time, and can also be used as a work surface. The wooden tray underneath the station also makes a great storage space for sand and water play accessories that children can choose from.
