The Den Cave Roof by Millhouse can be used in conjunction with two other compatible units in order to create a separated space for reading, playing or socialising. It is compatible with a combination of any two static Millhouse furniture units measuring 900mm in width, which include open storage units, shelves and benches as listed below.
By using this roof, you create a designated area between units that children will feel invited to use as a cosy reading corner, quiet play area, or safe socialising space where they can retreat into their own little world. The area can be used with friends like their own secret den, or alone for a feeling of safe seclusion for anxious children. The open design on the other hand ensures children can be monitored at all times for their safety.
Depending on the units chosen at either side, children will have easy access to books, toys, games and other resources, allowing you to tailor the space to their needs. All the compatible units are double sided, meaning those on the outside can still benefit from the resources when the den space is in use. You can also fill the space with mats, beanbags and cushions to make it feel more comfortable, cosy and inviting.
The roof is fire resistant and attaches securely to static units for maximum safety. This is assembled by the user quickly and easily with the supplied Allen key and bolts. The fabric cover is also removeable and washable for a longer lifespan in environments with children.
