A kinderbox is an essential in any school nursery or library for encouraging children to pick up a book. Use this mobile unit to transport store and showcase books in a way that is accessible and appealing to children as well as convenient in saving space for adults.DesignThis kinderbox is designed with 4 bays to store and categorise books toys and games in a way that best suits the needs of the user. It is possible to separate books into subject genre age range or size for example or use each bay to store a different type of item. This design - alongside the child-friendly height - allows children to quickly and easily find something that appeals to them without having to remove anything from the kinderbox. The open design also allows children to be drawn in by the front cover of a book which are commonly designed to stimulate the imagination and encourage an interest in reading. As there are 4 bays it is possible for multiple children to use the kinderbox at the same time without having to wait their turn. This speeds things up in a classroom and encourages children to be social by discussing what they have found. Larger books toys and games are also difficult to store elsewhere particularly at a height that is suited to young children making this box extremely useful in environments where play is encouraged. The unit itself is mobile with castors so it can be stored out of the way to save space and limit distraction when not in use.ConstructionThe kinderbox is constructed using 18mm thick melamine faced chipboard in the colour of Beech (MFC) a common material in classrooms due to its strength and durability under frequent handling. This durability allows us to proudly offer a 25 year guarantee so your school can use its tight budget wisely. The MFC used in this product is FSC certified.
