The salt is a drying agent and will actually pull the paint toward it. You can also experiment with table salt for a different and more subtle effect. It will pull colour out of your piece creating darker and lighter sections or it will mix an area where you have two colours coming together.3 Point Silk Pins - The starter set includes 25 x 3 point pins used to attach the silk to the frame holding it tight to enable accuracy when painting. The 3 point stainless steel pins with fine points are designed not to mark the fabric but attaching your silk or cotton to wooden frame for painting. Stretch your fabric evenly by not making it too tight or loose as it can cause damage to your fabric.
