Scola Block Printing Inks are water-based opaque and non-toxic designed primarily for printing on paper card and sugar paper using materials like lino woodcut soft-cut lino and potatoes. They are highly pigmented intermixable lightfast and wash off easily with soap and water. Supplied as a 300ml bottle for long-lasting use. Surfaces: Primarily designed for paper and card but can be used for various paper-based printmaking projects. Printing Blocks: Compatible with linoleum (lino) soft-cut lino woodcut blocks and quick print foam. Techniques: Ideal for block printing stamping and potato printing. Fabric: While they can print onto fabric they are not wash fast meaning they are best for decorative items not meant to be laundered. (For fabric use they may require a fabric medium mixed in). Mediums: As a water-based medium these inks are easy to clean and can be used in classrooms.
